JOSHUA BERGASSE
Director & Choreographer
Joshua is an Emmy Award-winning choreographer and dancer, renowned for his work across stage and screen. He is best known for his choreography on NBC's Smash, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography and for which he is the choreographer for the current Broadway production of Smash. His early influences include iconic choreographers like Bob Fosse, Gene Kelly, and Fred Astaire, all of whom shaped his distinct style. His professional breakthrough came when he was cast as Baby John in the national tour of West Side Story, which led to his relocation to New York City and a continued career in dance and choreography. On Broadway, Joshua’s notable works include the revival of On the Town, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Choreography, along with an Astaire Award. Other Broadway credits as choreographer include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Gigi. His Off-Broadway work includes Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Sweet Charity, Cagney, and the Rodgers and Hart musical I Married an Angel, which starred his wife, ballerina Sara Mearns. In addition to Broadway, Joshua has choreographed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and City Center Encores!, with productions such as Guys and Dolls, The Sound of Music, and It’s a Bird... It’s a Plane... It’s Superman.

JULIEN SALVIA AND LUDOVIC-ALEXANDRE VIDAL
Authors
Julien and Ludovic have been working together as a musical theatre writing team for more that 15 years. They started their collaboration with two epic musicals: Revolution (2005), set during the French Revolution, and The Man Who Laughs (2006), based on Victor Hugo’s novel, both premiering at the Paris Musicals Festival. Their third musical, The Prince & The Pauper, won the Marius Award for Best Family Musical in 2008 and was later presented at festivals in Montreal and New York, earning multiple accolades, including Outstanding Music & Lyrics. Following this success, they developed Rapunzel, the Musical and Matches, The Musical, both of which premiered in Paris and garnered nominations at the Molières Awards in 2016. Their adaptation of The Adventures of Tom Sawyerdebuted at Théâtre Mogador in 2017, achieving record nominations at the Trophées de la Comédie Musicale and winning several awards, including Best Original Score. Expanding internationally, Matches, The Musical toured China in 2019, and their new production, Around the World in 80 Days, premiered in 2020, earning another Molières nomination. Their portfolio extends beyond the stage to screenwriting for the animated series Living with Dad (M6, 2023) and composing for Parc Astérix attractions, including C’est Du Délire! (2024). Upcoming projects include original works like Ave Maria and Ron For America, as well as adaptations like Humbug! and A Foreign Field. In 2025, their song La Poupée Monte Le Son will compete in Luxembourg’s Eurovision selection, showcasing their versatility and continued impact on the musical and entertainment landscape. SIMONE GENATT
Producer
Chairperson and Co-Founder of Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia. Over the last 20 years, she has been responsible for shows in over 60 countries on five continents including recent productions with Warner Bros, Universal Theatrical Group, DreamWorks Animation, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stage Entertainment, Wynn Macau, Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, Shiki Theater Company, China Arts & Entertainment Group, Poly Group and Shanghai Media Group among many others. Simone is the recipient of the Robert M.Golden Award for outstanding achievement in Theater Direction from Stanford University. Select recent productions include the global tour of The Sound of Music ; Beetlejuice and Anastasia in Japan; Shear Madness long-running installations in 10 cities in China; Immersive Great Gatsby in NY and Asia; Mamma Mia! the Party in Rotterdam; The Jonathan Larson Project in New York and the upcoming global tours of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Christopher Wheeldon production of An American in Paris. Early in her career, she was the Managing Director of The Aspen Theater Company, and during this time she co-founded and built the Aspen Art Park, followed by working for Gerald Schoenfeld, former Chairman of the Shubert Organization, and then leading independent Broadway producer Roger Berlind. She is a founding member and Chairman Emeritus of Urban Arts Partnership, one the largest arts education companies in New York City. With a commitment to presenting live theatrical entertainment to cultures throughout the world, Simone Genatt remains focused on expanding the boundaries of entertainment and communication throughout the global markets.

MARC ROUTH
Producer
One of the most prolific producers on Broadway and in his role as President of Broadway Asia, the premiere producing company for Broadway productions in Asia. His recent Broadway and off Broadway productions include Back to the Future, The Roommate starring Mia Farrow and Patti LuPone, and The Jonathan Larson Project. He is the producer of off-Broadway’s Stomp (Drama Desk Award and Obie Award for Unique Theatre Experience, Legend of Off-Broadway Award) and 54 Below, Broadway’s award-winning nightclub (Tony Award Honor, MAC Board of Directors Award, Nightlife Award, June Briggs Award for Excellence in Destination Management, Concierge Choice Award for Nightlife). He is a seven-time Tony Award winner for Oklahoma!, Angels In America, The Band’s Visit, The Norman Conquests, Company, Hairspray, and The Producers. His Tony nominations include An American In Paris, Leap of Faith, A Little Night Music, Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, Swing! and The Sound of Music. Marc was a founding partner of On the Road, a theatrical booking agency, Broadway Inner Circle, a premium ticket agency, and Showtix, a Broadway group sales company that was acquired by Hollywood Media. He was an Adjunct Professor of the Graduate Department of Theatre Studies at Brooklyn College for 30 years, the recipient of the Robert Whitehead Award as Outstanding Commercial Theatre Producer, was inducted into the NYU Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame, and served as the president of The League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers for 8 years.
